SW for Direct Resistance Heating

Install

• Installation is not necessary, only unzip the zip into the selected directory.

Working with SW

• Read file with input values for 1st material.
• Edit data for rz geometry. Change only values according given task.
• Variable is supply voltage. Change this value with step 10 V from for example 30 V to 200 V. It depends on final temperature, of that must be achieved.
• Run calculation.

• Write down (note) time for given final temperature from table from of graphics results.
• - Repeat calculation for next supply voltage step...
• - Repeat whole proccess for second material ...
• In Excel perform the evaluation and draw graph of depency heating time on supply voltage for both materials.
• Try to determine supply voltage for the same heating time of both materials.
